Thassos is mountainous and verdant, with a peripheral coastal road – about 100 km. – which here and there is adorned by wonderful beaches. It is a dreamy route, between the pines and olives on one side and the endless blue on the other. The beautiful villages, perched on the Thassos massif, are characterized by traditional examples of Thracian Macedonian architecture. This element, combined with the delicious local cuisine, invites day trips to the interior of the island.
